Placement:
Candidates will be placed at Projects / Power Stations/ Offices including Joint Ventures & Subsidiary Companies of NHPC in various parts of the country or abroad.
SELECTION PROCESS:
The candidates registered online with NHPC and have filled all the requisite information inconformity with eligibility criteria shall be provisionally allowed to appear for Computer Based Online Test (CBT) and Written Test (as applicable).
The Minimum Qualifying Marks in CBT and Written Test (as applicable) for consideration of candidates in selection process shall be as follows:
Gen./OBC/ Gen-EWS : 40% of total Marks
SC/ST/PwBD : 35% of total Marks
Based on merit of Online Test, the provisionally selected candidates shall be called for Document Verification (DV) at Corporate Office, Faridabad. In this process, all the requisite documents will be verified against original marksheet / certificates. Further, at the time of DV biometric authentication of the shortlisted candidates will also be done.
On successful completion of DV, the final selected candidates will be given provisional “Offer of Appointment”.

| 1. SC : 05 years 2. OBC (Non-Cremy Layer) : 3 years 3. PwBD : SC/ST: 15 years, OBC: 13 years, General/EWS: 10 years 4. Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex- Servicemen: Actual period of service rendered in the Defence forces + 3 years subject to a maximum age limit of 45 years 5. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for the candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989. |
